He experiences early doubts and uncertainties for his judgment as the story progresses.Eventually, he grows to be a modest gentleman who genuinely cares for the commoners and strives to protect chivalry at all times. He speaks in a polite manner and tries to practice humility when facing conflicting interests. Hoping to see the end of the wars and cruelty, he desires to someday see his dream become a reality.

Background

Strict childhood and high expectations: He was born into a wealthy family in the Holy See of Ishgard known as the Aznable. Young Conrad was already quite known for his promising intellect. His parents put a large amount of pressure on him to excel in his studies, the stress of which caused him to be somewhat out of touch with his own feelings to the point where he can be overly harsh and insensitive, often without realizing it. This creates a cold, stoic demeanor which seems more fitting for a battle-hardened veteran and turned him into a man who will carry out his duties without any emotions whatsoever as long as he can get the job done. Being the only child, he would spend countless hours training, studying, make a name for himself, and preparing to take over the leadership of the Aznable family.Heavensward: During the event of Heavensward, Conrad was tasked to assist his fellow knights and soldiers outside of Ishgard. Hence, preventing him to meet the Warrior of Light and the members of the Scions directly. He was specifically assigned to fend off any heretics who threatened the safety of his homeland, capture them for information or take grave actions should the situation demands it (execute them on the spot for example). Due to the harsh and demanding situation, he has taken many lives in the process; some deserved it and some didn't. At the end of the day, he did what was necessary.Edmont Fortemps influences: Conrad's personality changes drastically thanks to Edmont Fortemps influence. His ideology; willing to aid those of just intentions melts the man's heart which used to be cold as an ice. This showed that Conrad truly does care about the people of Eorzea, and wants to help save it, also wanting what is best for humanity, touching upon the pointlessness of humans fighting amongst themselves. As an individual, He also improves from whom he used to be; rather than acting as a lone-wolf individual who only focuses about himself and his duties, Conrad sometimes acts as a mentor and helps young adventurer who aspires to be better, something the old Conrad would not have put up with.Present days: Some time after the Dragonsong War and the teachings of Edmont Fortemps, Conrad was assigned by Aymeric to form a group of adventurers which functions like an embassy for Ishgard known as The Round Table in order to establish a better relationship with different nations. While he is a knight, he also takes this opportunity to meet new people and guide those in need.

Hooks

The Ice of Fortemps: Once upon a time, there was once a rumor about "The Ice of Fortemps" which is heavily referred towards Conrad's features and his role in Ishgard (his battles, his magical mastery, etc). If you are someone who hails from Ishgard, you are will most likely to hear about him.Heretics slayer: If your character is somewhat related to the heretics who participated in the event of Heavensward, you must've heard of him. Especially if you are one of the heretics. As an Ishgardian, his tale should not come as a surprise.Scholar: Before he was a knight, he was a student. Conrad would consider himself lucky and fortunate enough to get himself an education at such a young age. He is not physically the strongest but he believes in his own mind and intelligence. This turn of event leads him to learn the art of Red Mage, combining the elegance of rapier practice and aetherial arts.Ishgardian Knight: At some point in the Dragonsong War, Conrad was promoted to be a knight because he showed great leadership skills during the war and killed a few dragons to save many lives. He strongly believes in law and order, and just like everybody else who aspires to be one, he follows the correct procedure to earn such status. He feels that if someone in his position does not follow the rules as a good example, no one else will. He believes that to maintain the order, all law-breakers must be punished, even if it goes against his own wishes.Others: Should you find him elsewhere besides Ishgard (Ul'Dah, Gridania, Limsa, etc.); ask why he's there! He's definitely there for a reason and he won't shy away from striking a conversation with you. Form a contact with him and find out where this exchange will take you!

OOC

If you are here, then that means you either skimmed through all the contents I have provided or actually read them, thank you! I hope you like it so far. It's worth noting that most of the information above might change in the future and I will most likely have to add more. So apologies if some ticked you off in the wrong way!WU/T is appreciated! Do not hesitate to poke me should you find myself available with or without the RP indicator ingame. Do not worry about the length of your writing because I'll mirror it! I am very flexible about it and I don't bite either.I love things happening, changing and developing! And putting some common plot, some story to grow with, obstacles to defeat (or perhaps, get defeated by) is one of the most rewarding types of RP for me.While I love writing, I also want to grow some trusts between writers. You know what they say, the more comfortable you are with the other writer- the better story you can produce. Think of it like multiplayer writing! If you have good teammates, you can certainly play this roleplaying game really well together!Last but not least, the usual RP common sense (no godmodding, do not be toxic, and etc, etc, you know the drill.)
